General Terms & Conditions

1. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to materials produced or distributed by us in connection with this event are strictly reserved. Any unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or publication of such materials is strictly prohibited.

2. Disclaimer

While we make every reasonable effort to deliver the event as advertised, it reserves the right to modify event dates, venues, content, schedules, or speakers as necessary. Such changes shall not warrant any refund or compensation.

3. Liability & Cancellation

By submitting this registration form, the delegate acknowledges and agrees that, in the event of cancellation or dispute, we shall be entitled to retain 100% of the total published registration fee as liquidated damages. Should the event be cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond our control, the organiser shall not be held liable for any resulting costs, including but not limited to airfare, accommodation, or other travel-related expenses incurred by the participant.

4. Data Sharing with Event Sponsors and Partners

By registering for this event, you acknowledge and consent that your registration information (including but not limited to name, job title, company, and email address) may be shared with the sponsors and partners of the event. This is for the purpose of enabling event-related communications, networking opportunities, and exclusive sponsor offerings. You may opt out of such communications directly with the sponsors or partners after initial contact.

Claiming HRD Corp Grant? Here's What to Know:

1. Grant Application Submission

Organisations intending to claim the HRD Corp grant are advised to submit their applications via the e-TRIS system promptly upon confirmation of registration to ensure timely approval. Kindly notify us at resource@openmindsresources.com once the application has been submitted and approved, along with the corresponding Grant ID issued by HRD Corp.

2. Modifications After Initial Approval

Following HRD Corp’s approval of the initial batch of registered delegates, any amendments including the addition or removal of participants or changes to delegate details will require a grant modification and subsequent approval from HRD Corp. We must be informed of such changes no later than 30 working days prior to the event.

Cancellation / Substitution

  1. Delegate names must be listed and approved in HRD Corp’s e-TRIS system in order to be eligible for the grant. Any changes to delegate names must be communicated to us at least 30 working days before the event.
  2. All delegates are required to sign HRD Corp’s T3 attendance form on both days of the event as proof of participation, in accordance with HRD Corp’s claim requirements.
  3. Full payment from the participating company will be required for any delegates not listed in the approved e-TRIS record.
  4. To meet HRD Corp’s claim criteria, delegates must attend the event in full on both days. Should a delegate fail to attend either day, the full registration fee will be chargeable to the company.
  5. No cancellations are permitted within 30 days prior to the event.

For Self-Funded or Non-Grant Companies

1. Registration & Payment Terms

Full payment is required at the time of registration through the event portal. Registration shall be deemed complete and confirmed only upon successful payment. All payments must be made in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). In the event of a payment error or failed transaction, the registration will be considered incomplete, and access to the event may be denied.

2. Cancellation / Substitution

Substitution of participants is permitted, provided the full registration fee has been settled and the request is submitted no later than 14 working days prior to the commencement of event. Please note that upon receipt of the completed registration form, all confirmed bookings are subject to a 100% cancellation liability, regardless of attendance or subsequent circumstances.

E-Invoice Compliance

1. Intellectual Property

E-Invoice Compliance (Malaysia) In compliance with the e-Invoice requirements introduced by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN), all transactions are subject to electronic invoicing regulations. Upon successful payment and registration, an e-Invoice will be issued in accordance with LHDN's guidelines.

At the checkout page, participants will be asked whether they require an e-Invoice. If yes, they must provide the necessary tax information during checkout, and it must be submitted within the same month of purchase. A step-by-step guide on how to request and receive the e-Invoice will be provided on the checkout page. Failure to provide the required information within the purchase month may result in delays or the inability to issue the e-Invoice.
