From Wireframe to a Functional Website: AI-Assisted Web Delivery with Claude Code
This one-day programme takes you from an empty brief to a published, functioning website. You run Claude Code from a desktop app, connected to a WordPress instance over the Model Context Protocol, and direct the AI agent to build the site rather than writing the code yourself. Everyone works on a live project belonging to their own employer, so the site you publish is a real business asset and not a practice exercise.

What you walk away with
A live website for a real project — You finish with a published multi-page website and a working contact form, built for a live business project belonging to your employer and pushed to a live subdomain before you leave.
A validated sitemap and information architecture — Your business brief becomes a page inventory and URL structure, with a defined primary conversion path and a clear search intent behind every page.
The ability to direct an AI coding agent — You learn to brief Claude Code so it turns approved high-fidelity wireframes into a live WordPress build, with you making the layout and design calls and the agent writing the code.
Article content built for search and E-E-A-T — You draft a pillar article structured for search ranking, generative engine retrieval and E-E-A-T signals, then set its metadata, schema markup and internal links.
The skill to catch AI writing tells — You learn to spot and remove machine-pattern writing tells in your own copy, so what goes live reads as though a person wrote it.
Who it's for
If you are responsible for overseeing or building a company website, this is built for you. You work on a live business project belonging to your employer, so what you leave with is a real business asset rather than a practice exercise. You direct an AI coding agent to build the site instead of writing the code yourself, but the judgement stays with you all day: the sitemap and conversion path, the layout direction you select, the copy, and the pre-launch checks before the site goes live.
Agenda
How the day runs
1.0 hour
Unit 1.1 Brief, sitemap and environment verification
Verify a working Claude Code environment with an authorised WordPress MCP connector registered at user scope. Convert the business brief into a page inventory and URL structure, then define the primary conversion path and the search intent each page must answer.
1.5 hours
Unit 1.2 Wireframe to high-fidelity wireframe
Generate three low-fidelity layout directions covering the Homepage, About, Content and Contact pages. Weigh them against the brief and the defined conversion path, select one direction, then develop it into high-fidelity wireframes across all four page types.
1.0 hour
Unit 1.3 Homepage design build
Direct the agent to translate an approved high-fidelity wireframe into a live WordPress homepage through the MCP connector. Apply a design token set covering type scale, colour palette and spacing. Diagnose and resolve layout field and page template constraints.
1.5 hours
Unit 1.4 Content for SEO, GEO and E-E-A-T
Draft a pillar article structured for search ranking, generative engine retrieval and E-E-A-T signals. Generate supporting still imagery with Gemini, specify production-grade prompts and queue a short-form video in Project Reverie, then configure metadata, schema markup and internal linking.
1.5 hours
Unit 1.5 Full-site assembly and AI-nuance elimination
Build the About, Content and Contact pages against the approved design system. Place the rendered video asset and verify design consistency across every page. Run a humaniser quality pass and correct machine-pattern writing tells in all published copy.
1.0 hour
Unit 1.6 Deployment, contact form and go-live
Configure a contact form and verify end-to-end message delivery. Work through a pre-launch checklist covering indexing, SSL, mobile rendering and Core Web Vitals. Publish the completed site to the live hosted environment and present it against the original brief.

Good to know
Before you come
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You direct an AI coding agent rather than writing code yourself. Claude Code runs from a desktop app and connects to WordPress over the Model Context Protocol, so it makes the changes on the site while you instruct, review and correct. What the day does ask of you is judgement: choosing between competing layout directions, checking each build against your brief and conversion path, and working out why a page template or layout field is not behaving.
What do I need to bring?
Your laptop, and a brief for the live business project you intend to build. The programme is face to face and every unit is hands-on, so you will be working on your own machine from the first session onwards.
Do I need my own business project?
Yes. Every participant works on a live business project belonging to their employer, which is what makes the output a real business asset rather than a practice exercise. Come with a clear brief: what the site is for, who it speaks to, and what you want a visitor to do. You build on a pre-provisioned WordPress instance that already carries the starter child theme and page template used during the day.
Will the site really be live by the end of the day?
Yes. Going live before the day ends is part of the programme. The final unit configures a contact form and verifies that messages actually arrive, then works through a pre-launch checklist covering indexing, SSL, mobile rendering and Core Web Vitals. You publish to a live subdomain, then present the finished site against the brief you walked in with.
What happens to the site after the training day?
It stays live. Twelve months of hosting from the go-live date is included, as is first-year registration of a .com domain or a comparable alternative extension. A 14-day support window after the course covers cutover to your custom domain and any go-live defects.
Which tools will I be working with?
Claude Code is the main one, operated from a desktop app and connected to your WordPress instance through an MCP connector registered at user scope. WordPress is where you build and publish the site. Gemini generates the supporting still imagery to brief. In the content unit you specify production-grade prompts and queue a short-form video in Project Reverie, then place the rendered asset during full-site assembly.
What is E-E-A-T, and why does content get its own unit?
E-E-A-T covers experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trustworthiness, the signals search engines weigh when deciding whether content deserves to rank. The content unit has you draft a pillar article structured for search ranking, generative engine retrieval and E-E-A-T at the same time, then configure page metadata, schema markup and internal linking. The humaniser pass that follows corrects the machine-pattern tells that make AI-assisted copy easy to spot.
Leave with a live website, not a plan
Bring a project from your own business, direct Claude Code to build it, and publish it to a live subdomain before the day ends.
