Write content that performs — in traditional search and is more likely to be cited by AI answer engines.
Use AI tools confidently and responsibly — to speed up content creation without losing brand voice or accuracy.

Know where AI engines look — beyond your site — reviews, listings, communities and media — and check your own AI visibility with free tools.
Who it's for
If you plan or write your own web content and want to be found in both Google and AI search, this is for you. Beginners through to some SEO exposure — no coding required.
Agenda
How the day runs
Welcome
Welcome & framing
From keywords to AI questions — defining SEO, AEO and GEO.
Module 1
The new search landscape
How search moved from keywords to conversations; classic SEO vs answer engines vs generative citation; and how AI engines actually pick answers (RAG, query fan-out, meaning-matching), plus what makes a page quotable (E-E-A-T). Ends with a “Search Race” exercise.
Module 2
Getting found: question research + on-page
Cluster and prioritise the real questions customers ask, then structure a page that ranks and gets cited — titles, meta, headings, answer-first writing and FAQs, plus a technical AEO cheat sheet. A combined “Question Mining + Page Teardown” on your own page.
Lunch
Lunch & refreshments
Provided.
Module 3
Using AI to create & optimise
Where AI speeds you up versus where it's risky; prompt patterns for briefs, drafts, meta and AEO answer blocks; and the brand-voice, accuracy and privacy guardrails to run first — through a “Prompt Lab” exercise.
Module 4
The live optimisation lab · anchor exercise
Bring your own page: audit it, rewrite the weakest section answer-first, amplify with AI, then pressure-test the rewrite against an AI engine. You leave with a publish-ready page and a before/after showcase.
Module 5
Getting mentioned where AI looks + action plan
Where AI looks beyond your site — reviews, Google Business Profile, directories, communities and media. A “Citation-Gap Check” and off-site mini-plan; how to measure results (ChatGPT / Perplexity referral traffic in GA4, Search Console); and your 30-day action plan. Wraps by 4:00 PM.
